Service Description

Gardens are beginning to wake up from hibernation. We offer services for Spring Cleaning in your garden. We recommend leaving all stems from dormant perennials until June as many pollinator species remain dormant through the end of May. If desired, we can cut them back to a foot in height. We recommend leaving the remainder of the stem to naturally decompose in your garden and act as both a mulch and fertilizer. Many gardens experience fallen branches over the wintertime. We recommend removing unsightly branches but keeping smaller branches to decompose and support the local ecosystem. Additional Spring services may be included upon request, for a higher cost (ie: adding new plants or trimming / removing dead perennials). Note: We do not offer lawncare services. We do not fertilize or aerate lawns. We do not recommend using herbicides or pesticides in lawns as this can be detrimental for insect populations which are a crucial source of food for birds and small mammals. *Prices vary by garden size, conditions, and location.
